The whole website and the domain name “financialadvisor.co.uk” was bought by Infinicom Communications Ltd and is the highest ever sale for a 2 word .co.uk domain name.
The site lets you search for independent financial advisors (IFA) by entering your details into their internal search engine. The site runs on a post code search. The site also powers a popular financial blog.
Infinicom is a technology web marketing business that also owns phonesystem.co.uk, datacenters.co.uk and a whole host of other domain names
As its name suggests, the site will be used to provide UK residents with detailed information about IFA businesses.
There is a strong track record of finance related domains attracting huge ticket values, money.co.uk was sold for over £1m and fund.com sold for $10m
