Smart3 to unveil home of the future at BRE Innovation park
WATFORD, England, July 29, 2010 — Smart3, a UK-based smart home automation company has teamed up the BRE Group, a leading buildings research organization, to offer visitors a glimpse into the future of smart home technology at the BRE innovation park.
Smart3 will focus on reducing the environmental impact of buildings, while vastly improving the quality of life of the residents thanks to the implementation of ground-breaking technology and design.
Smart3’s exposition is a triumph of naturalism, establishing a seamless symbiotic relationship between cutting-edge technology and the environment. Visitors will be able to view a centrally controlled fountain which, thanks to the full-color touch screen hub located in the lobby, is able to interact with other features and services in the household.
All facets of daily life are considered and rendered painless. The fully autonomous intelligent lighting, for instance, completely removes the need for switches and loose ends. A home owner need only walk into a room and the lights will turn on. Similarly, when the same person leaves the room, the centralized hub will dim the lights, drastically reducing energy expenditure and waste. Occupants will also be able to program every aspect of their new home from one centralized location, without any form of expertise.
